Welcome to Rioni

Rioni’s restaurant in central Helsinki opened in Kasarmikatu January 2021. Following the restaurants in Espoo and Turku, it is the third in the chain. The Helsinki location proudly continues the same authentic and proud Georgian tradition that made the two previous restaurants so popular.

Our location

The restaurant is perfectly located on the Esplanadi, within walking distance of the train station, Market Square, the Savoy Theatre, the National Theatre, and Helsinki Cathedral. Welcome to an authentic Georgian restaurant in Helsinki!

Absolutely amazing experience of Georgian good, including dumplings and especially the orange wine or amber wine as they call in. Tedo, our waiter, made sure we all had a great time and splitting the bill was done so professionally and easy. Would definitely recommend, also for groups.

Absolutely amazing experience at Rioni – the service was fantastic and the food was even better. I genuinely can't say a single bad thing about it. Loved every bit of it and will definitely be back!

En tiedä voinko tämän kokemuksen jälkeen käydä syömässä enää muualla koskaan. Aivan täysi 12/10 kokemus kaikin puolin. Jaettiin Supra-menyy neljälle ja ruokaa jäi hurjasti vielä ylikin mikä saatiin mukaan. Vahvat suositukset tälle!

A perfect dining experience from the super friendly and knowledgeable staff to the delicious and beautifully presented food - we are so glad we didn't miss out on this fantastic meal while visiting Helsinki - highly recommend!!
